Limestoneís Community Garden serves many purposes:

  • Providing needed, fresh food for our neighbors in-need
        and church members,
  • Saving money that would have been used mowing the
church lawn that is now a garden,
  • Preventing pollution caused by the mowing (mowers are
        worse than cars)
  • Building community/fellowship among our church members
and friends who work on the garden.

The garden has been a wonderful intergenerational activity: Girl Scouts,
Boy Scouts, grandparents and others have helped out the past two
summers with the community garden at Limestone.

We will welcome volunteers helping with the garden throughout the summer. Please contact our church office (994-5646 or
for details.
